Thank you for your interest in advertising in the Tri-City Herald, the Mid-Columbia's only daily newspaper.

As the "Voice of the Mid-Columbia," the Tri-City Herald's primary market is Benton and Franklin counties. The metropolitan statistical area includes the cities of Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, West Richland, Benton City and Burbank.

Regionally, the Tri-City Herald circulates in a 90-mile radius -- the same distance people drive to shop in the Tri-Cities. The "Mid-Columbia" reaches north to Moses Lake, west to Sunnyside, east to Dayton and south to Hermiston, Ore.

The Tri-City Herald's circulation is audited by the Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC). December 2004 ABC numbers are 42,076 daily and 45,292 Sunday. The weekend/holiday subscription package includes Friday, Saturday, Sunday and major holidays.

The Tri-City Herald also operates the region's leading Web site, www.tricityherald.com.

Readership of the Tri-City Herald is above average compared with daily newspapers in other areas.*

• On the average weekday, 55 percent of Tri-City adults -- 81,000 adults -- read the Tri-City Herald, vs. 47 percent readership of newspapers in other markets.

• On the average Sunday, 65 percent of Tri-City adults -- 94,000 adults -- read the Tri-City Herald, vs. 53 percent readership of newspapers in other markets.
